Located a short distance from metropolitan Houston
in Conroe, TX, Touchstone is a CARF- accredited,
post-acute rehabilitation facility which is
nationally recognized as providing leading edge
neurobehavioral rehabilitation. Touchstone’s
mission is to develop and provide state-of-the-art
transitional, residential and vocational
rehabilitation services for individuals who have a
brain injury or neurological impairment. Our
residents transition through our various programs
to the highest functional level possible.
Touchstone offers a continuum of care for adults
with neurological deficits in a peaceful rural
setting. We are located on a 26-acre wooded campus
with easy access to three large general hospitals
and a pleasant suburban city.
Personalized instruction, care and attention
Touchstone emphasizes practical treatment programs
designed to meet the behavioral, vocational and
community re-entry needs of our residents.
Individualized programs are developed under the
direction and supervision of a physician and
implemented by neuropsychiatrists, physicians,
speech therapists, physical therapists,
occupational therapists, behavioralists, licensed
physician assistants, living skill advisors,
vocational counselors, licensed nurses and
additional rehabilitation staff members. We offer
a high staff-to-resident ratio allowing for
personalized instruction, care and attention.
